Hardlines Design Company (HDC) completed a multi-year/multi-phase history/architecture survey of a large project area associated with the improvement of interstate highways in downtown Cleveland innerbelt and surrounding neighborhoods. HDC recorded over 400 buildings on an ODOT survey table, completed GIS mapping, filled out Ohio Historic Inventory forms, and identified existing historic properties and districts. HDC also made National Register eligibility recommendations for properties that had not been previously evaluated. The engineering team was so impressed with HDC’s report editing, they subsequently requested that HDC became the editor for all technical reports in the project.
